About The Position
Horizon Veterinary Specialists is a privately owned and rapidly growing, fast-paced emergency and specialty hospital located in beautiful Ventura, California. Horizon was founded in August of 2018 by five board certified veterinarians who want to inspire positive change in the veterinary community for their patients and for all the incredible professionals who dedicate themselves to veterinary medicine. With a state-of-the-art facility and a focus on positive, inclusive, and educational culture, the Horizon Partners have built a team of kind-hearted, dedicated, and motivated professionals to serve each other, our patients, and the community members of beautiful Ventura. Horizon’s emergency and critical care team provides services 24/7 to small animal patients of Ventura and the surrounding counties. Our emergency department supports walk- in emergencies as well as referrals from the primary veterinarian community. We have a large, fully equipped, multi-unit ICU with a separate room for isolation and a room just for cats. Our emergency department team is fortunate to have access to internal medicine services six days a week, for supportive services and consultation.
Requirements
- Must be an Active Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
