DVM Student Externship
About The Position
Horizon Veterinary Specialists is seeking compassionate, team-oriented, and communicative veterinary students from 1st through 4th year to participate in their externship program. This program offers students the opportunity to enhance their education through real-world experience in a state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital. The hospital, founded by board-certified veterinarians, emphasizes a positive, inclusive, and educational culture, with a dedicated team serving patients and the community. The emergency and critical care team provides 24/7 services to small animal patients, supporting walk-in emergencies and referrals. The facility includes a large, fully equipped multi-unit ICU with separate isolation and cat rooms, and access to internal medicine services six days a week.
Requirements
- Must be an Active Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
