About The Position

Join Monash Sport as a Duty Supervisor, overseeing the day-to-day operations of aquatic and sporting facilities to deliver safe, welcoming and high-quality experiences for students, staff and the wider community. The role supervises casual staff, monitors facility operations, coordinates maintenance and events, and ensures health, safety and service standards are maintained while on shift. It also supports pool and plant operations, conducts water quality testing, assists with staff training, and contributes to administrative tasks and continuous service improvement. This is a hands-on role supporting a positive, active and inclusive campus community.

Requirements

Experience supervising staff, including leading casual staff.
Background in aquatic or sports facility operations.
Current Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
First Aid certification.
Experience in customer service and pool operations.
Experience maintaining safety standards.
Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and support and motivate team members.
Ability to deliver excellent customer service in a busy environment.
Current valid work rights for Australia.
