About The Position
Amrize, a leading supplier of quality, construction building materials in the United States, has immediate openings for a Dump Truck Driver in our Asphalt division. The Dump Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport asphalt and related materials to and from job sites while complying with DOT regulations and company safety standards. Coordinate with plant operations, dispatch, and paving crews to ensure timely, efficient deliveries that support asphalt production and placement schedules.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 year of dump truck driving experience, preferably in asphalt or construction materials.
- Daily travel required. Must be willing to travel to multiple job sites within the region as required.
- Must have have Valid CDL A with no restrictions
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport asphalt, aggregates, and related materials to and from job sites in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery tickets, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with dispatch, plant personnel, and paving crews to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with asphalt crews and provide assistance as needed to maintain site safety and workflow.
- Follow all job site safety procedures, traffic control requirements, and environmental regulations.
- Adjust driving and dumping operations based on weather, road conditions, and job site constraints.
- Ensure proper loading, securement, and unloading of materials to prevent spills, damage, or delays.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers, contractors, and the public
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

- Communicate effectively with the asphalt crew and assist as needed to ensure the safety of the site, crew members, and equipment.
