About The Position

Suncore is hiring a dependable Dump Truck Driver to safely haul asphalt, rock, and other materials to construction sites. The role involves loading, transporting, and unloading materials, navigating off-road construction sites, maintaining required truck logs, and completing safety inspections. The driver is expected to provide professional customer service, follow applicable laws and safety and environmental regulations, and work reliably and independently in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with air brake and doubles endorsements.
• Clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of doubles or LCV (longer combination vehicle) driving experience.
• Ability to bend, sit for extended periods, and work in hot conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, and unload asphalt, rock, and other materials.
• Maintain accurate truck logs in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Navigate off-road construction sites and safely maneuver in challenging conditions.
• Complete pre- and post-trip safety inspections.
• Obtain customer signatures on delivery tickets and provide copies as needed.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Follow all traffic laws and comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Meet performance expectations in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.
• Demonstrate initiative, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
