About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical aspects of power generation equipment in the field and performing minor/major mechanic work on such equipment. The successful Candidate will be based out of our Edmonton Power Systems facility and will be on a Wednesday – Tuesday 7x7 shift, and will report directly to the Field Service Supervisor, Power Systems.

Requirements

  • Interprovincial Electrician Certification
  • Interprovincial HET Certification (apprenticeship in progress will be considered)
  • Previous Power Generation experience
  • Self-motivated
  • Team player capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organization, and communication skills and a commitment to safety
  • You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.

  • 3500 engine experience an asset
