About The Position

The Dual Rate Dealer/Supervisor works out of the Games Department. Dealers are responsible for the conduct of the card game at their table and adding to the entertainment and enjoyment of customers. Working on a tight time frame, speed and accuracy is an intricate part of this position. A Floor Supervisor oversees the activity of the dealers on the table games. He/She works in liaison with the dealers, Pit Manager and Games Manager to handle customer concerns, address game issues and provide quality customer service.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment with a variety of customers
  • Possess high standards in customer service
  • AGLC Registered and certification
  • Knowledge of all table games (with exception of craps and pai gow tiles)
  • Must be experienced with problem solving, people skills, communication skills
  • Must be able to exercise considerable supervisory discretion and make independent decisions
  • Aptitude for exceptional customer service is a must
  • Excellent working knowledge of policies and procedures
  • Must maintain a professional appearance, demeanor and approach at all times and will be flexible to work evening and weekends and holidays as business needs dictate
  • Able to maintain security clearance
  • Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Fluent in the English language
  • Have reliable means of transportation

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the conduct and control of the games smoothly and legally
  • Conduct the game according to AGLC terms and conditions as well as company policy
  • Sell chips to guests for cash only, deposit cash in drop box provided at the table
  • Supervises and monitors activity of the dealers on the table games. No more than two types of games at one time.
  • Participates in various aspects during opening and closing of the casino table games.
  • Reports errors and procedural irregularities in game operations.
  • Works as a liaison between the dealers and Pit Manager/Games Manager
  • Maintain lists for guest waiting to play busier games
  • Participates in formulating and administering company policies, commendations, performance, discipline, evaluations and reviews
  • Physically capable to work shifts, handle repetitive motions and stand for long periods of time
  • Maintain a professional demeanour at all times when in the casino, whether on shift or not
  • Realize that they represent the company even when not on company property.
