About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Dual General Manager for the Courtyard Rocky Mount Hotel and the Residence Inn Rocky Mount Hotel. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for excellence and a proven track record of success in the hospitality industry. Initial scope of responsibility will be oversight for up to 2 properties within the portfolio.

Requirements

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions, Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
• Must have exceptional mathematical and computer skills.
• High school education and relevant training and experience required.
• Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates, including CPR training and first aid training
• Occasional travel required.
• Minimum lifting, pushing, pulling of 20 pounds.
• Bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Producing results based on well-developed short and long-term financial and operation plans that support company goals and objectives in such areas as revenue, market share performance, guest satisfaction, employee satisfaction, asset preservation and net operating income.
• Holding teams accountable for results and strategy execution while displaying leadership qualities that motivate and inspire people to perform their best every day.
• Evaluating performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
• Working with hotel leadership and brand partners to maintain relationships, support alignment and growth.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly meetings to communicate overall direction and provide leadership and communication
• Prepare annual hotel/operation budget.
• Maintain and correct product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating complaints.
• Establish and maintain effective programs to ensure the security and safety of guests, associates, and StepStone owned or managed assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
