About The Position

Advises and supports the operations of secondary site dual credit opportunities and works directly with secondary partners and students to ensure a coordinated, high-quality student experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 4-6 years of relevant experience
  • High attention to detail, independent, self-motivated, adaptable to fast-paced environments.
  • Skilled in engaging and supporting students from diverse different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Professional and courteous communication at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Clear verbal and written skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, ability to work independently and adapt seamlessly to fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Skilled in engaging and supporting students from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Forms, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word)

Nice To Haves

  • 6 to 8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in secondary education or dual credit partnerships would be preferred but not mandatory

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to support student enrollment at the High School or secondary sites.
  • Serves as the liaison for the entire dual credit process, from initial information and course setup to student enrollment, including working with the Academic Affairs department to get HS faculty credentialed and current.
  • Manages off-site courses, providing reporting and updates to internal and external partners.
  • Works with the Director of ECO and Deans to create needed courses.
  • Responsible for updating academic program information for all courses and sharing it with partners.
  • Provides general admission, advising, and registration services to students and prospective students enrolled in off-site classes.
  • Maintains accurate student records by assisting students in completing necessary paperwork for enrollment into the ECO.
  • Assists students/schools with understanding where to access additional admission services (EdReady, etc.) when needed, including carrying a load of traditional dual credit students as needed.
  • Assists seniors who are ECO students and community members with understanding the GCTC college admission process and provides information on other student support services such as Financial Aid FAFSA workshops, and Admissions HS and GCTC transcript requests.
  • Other duties as assigned.
