About The Position

The Digital Technology Program Management Office is currently searching for a seasoned professional in Project Management who works independently, develops project plans, schedules, and budgets for Digital Technology projects. Responsibilities include facilitating and tracking project tasks with various functional organizations, financial management, risk and opportunity management, identifying and recommending resolutions, schedule management, and escalating project issues. This position focuses on managing the M&A and ERP implementation project management process including process mapping, due diligence, financial scoping, TSA development and execution, data cleansing and migrations. You may also lead other types of projects. This is a hybrid-based position at one of Collins’ major facilities.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder)
  • Experience leading digital technology projects in the areas of mergers, acquisitions, alignments, divestitures, product moves.
  • Experience with international and multi-site projects.
  • Experience leading a global based project team.
  • Experience building and managing schedules in MS Project.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and manage project vision with project leadership team to ensure an understanding of the project plan and scope, in conjunction with the company’s commitments and customer expectations.
  • Define deliverables, scope of work, and develop detailed project schedules to ensure value is provided to the customer/requestor and business objectives and goals are met.
  • Build highly effective project teams and establish effective relationships with impacted departments and functional areas.
  • Make timely and sound business decisions that support the business objectives of Collins Aerospace.
  • Summarize and present key information to senior leadership enabling them to make decisions.
  • Manage multiple projects, tasks, and resources through effective organization, prioritization, and time management practices to meet operational objectives.
  • Lead large scale ERP implementations or divestitures.
  • Partner with Change Management throughout the project life cycle.
  • Ability to provide direction, leadership, and influence where you do not have direct authority through strong interpersonal skills.
  • Manage project financials.
