About The Position

ViaQuest DSP Home Managers provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes, with the goal of fostering independence, choice, and empowerment while ensuring individuals' health and safety. Full training is provided, including CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration courses and certifications. Prior experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have a personal, reliable vehicle and be willing and able to use it to transport individuals served.
• Have a valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance.
• Meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria based on the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Be able to push, lift, or carry up to 50 pounds and climb, balance, kneel, and crouch.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting independence, choice, and empowerment while meeting health and safety needs.
• Supervise, teach, and assist individuals in all aspects of their lives.
• Complete household tasks, including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Provide personal care assistance.
