About The Position

HealthChoice Waiver Services is seeking compassionate, dependable IHS staff to support adults with disabilities in their homes and communities. The role provides individualized, person-centered assistance that encourages independence, personal growth, community involvement, and a safe, comfortable home environment. Staff follow individual service plans, document services accurately, and communicate respectfully with clients, families, and colleagues. Compensation is $22.00–$25.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to complete required training before providing services.
• Ability to be flexible with scheduling.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
• Compassion, patience, and respect for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living skills, including meal preparation, light cleaning, and organization.
• Support clients in developing and practicing independent living skills.
• Provide transportation to appointments, errands, or community activities as needed.
• Follow individualized service plans and maintain accurate documentation.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients, families, and staff.
• Adapt to changing schedules and client needs.
