About The Position

The Logistics Inventory Specialist role is responsible for overall management of site inventory. The Logistics Inventory Specialist will execute warehouse operations regarding health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, and policy compliance. The Logistics Inventory Specialist will also work collaboratively with key internal and external (third-party logistics vendors) business partners. Responsible for activities such as inventory management (stock reconciliation, MB51 management, etc.), system interface monitoring, track and trace, claims management, invoice management (returns/credits/unsaleable), and compliance execution (Health, Safety & Environmental, quality, risk management).

Requirements

  • Minimum associate's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Experience in logistics operations, procurement, or supply chain functions
  • Analytical thinking: Proficient in interpreting data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • System Knowledge: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power point, Quickbase, ERP, SAP R3, etc.
  • Record Keeping & Inventory Management.
  • Logistics Experience or supply chain function in general as an asset

Responsibilities

  • Management of site inventory and maintain compliance on all inventory-related levels to ensure company standards are maintained
  • Responsible for and execute the counting processes for the site related to cycle counting, ad-hoc counts, inventory accuracy, reporting, and monitoring.
  • Review and analyze stock inaccuracies and guarantee accurate stock alignment between physical inventory and SAP/EWM.
  • Manage the damage process to ensure the product is properly transacted to the damaged area. (donation or liquidation)
  • Facilitate & manage the storage and processing of expired or tankage products to ensure write-off and processing in accordance with finance & internal controls, coordinate with management/finance for approvals to write-off inventory, and complete necessary documentation to support system movements/write-offs.
  • Monitor inbound, outbound, co-packing, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure shelf-life monitoring and management, support reduction of write-offs, and constantly look for opportunities to improve productivity.
  • Monitor the EWM queue to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve failed activities/transactions between ECC/EWM.
  • Managing and supporting the Inventory Pillar by maintaining count accuracy and ensuring all critical questions pertaining to inventory are addressed.
  • Partner with the warehouse and delivery supervisors to evaluate processes to identify ways of increasing productivity.
