About The Position

The Inventory Specialist will perform a wide range of clerical and technical support work, to include inventory accounting, records entry and review, requisition and re-supply, receipt and release of property, and shipping. Requirements

  • High school Diploma, or equivalent, required.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in maintaining inventory, warehousing, and/or distribution environment.
  • Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers.
  • Proficiency in with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
  • Must be able to comply with SFPH’s Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.

Responsibilities

  • Gathering information to support inventory records, identifying discrepancies, and assisting with corrective actions.
  • Entering data in the inventory control system.
  • Processing disposal documentation and posting status record changes to maintain control of equipment dispositions.
  • Processing material receipts and receiving and shipping documentation.
  • Performing periodic inventories of plant property, materials, and equipment.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
