About The Position

The DSD Dispatcher is part of a centralized team responsible for tactical routing based on defined inputs and parameters. The role helps ensure routes are efficient and use the lowest-cost delivery methods. It is a cross-functional planning position within Distribution, supporting daily operations and planning processes across multiple functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of previous work experience in transportation or planning required.
• Ability to manage the needs and concerns of multiple stakeholders across different areas.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including timely follow-up.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with mathematical concepts.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in logistics planning or analytical work preferred.
• Experience with SAP, LEO, and Microsoft Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily tactical operations within DSD Planning, using planning technology to carry out operational plans and deliver business results.
• Analyze and develop processes and methods to improve internal and external performance.
• Audit and analyze data integrity, planning-session quality, and process compliance to support effective planning.
• Collaborate and communicate with the team and leadership to educate others on planning processes and procedures.
• Participate in developing, implementing, validating, and following standard processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
