About The Position
Sun Realty has managed vacation homes on the Outer Banks for over 46 years. We're hiring a Drywall & Painting Technician to keep our homeowners' properties in top shape and our guests' stays problem-free.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with drywall finishing, wallpaper, and paint/stain applications.
- Basic carpentry skills
- A valid driver's license, held for 3+ years, with a favorable driving record.
- Hearing, speaking, seeing, walking, standing, sitting, driving, reaching bending climbing steps/ladders, and lifting 50-85+ pounds; reading, comprehension, legible writing skills and effective written and verbal communication in the English language.
- the operation of basic tools and equipment; smart phone or similar electronic device.
Nice To Haves
- advanced carpentry or drywall/finishing experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide estimates and complete work orders for drywall & painting jobs.
- Apply/repair drywall finishes (knock-down, flat, orange peel), wallpaper, and trim/door finishes.
- Work with various paints, stains, and finishes.
- Perform basic general maintenance as needed.
