About The Position

To maintain existing buildings and equipment in a manner consistent with current building codes, ADA and CARF requirements. To construct any additional fixtures and maintenance needs to above requirements.

Requirements

• Employee must maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to Goodwill's liability insurance provider.
• Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to operations
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well with a broad spectrum of people; including consumers and employees.
• Must be able to work independently with little direct supervision as well as have the ability to work cooperatively as a team member.
• Must be able to follow through with projects and assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, general business instructions, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Nice To Haves

• High School education preferred but not required.
• Two years’ experience in an industrial maintenance position preferred.
• Customer Service Oriented with a pleasant disposition

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical, lighting and power circuits.
• Install and maintain plumbing for light industrial usage.
• Perform light carpentry, drywall and painting as needed.
• Follow sound preventive maintenance for all above equipment.
• Maintain adequate personal hand tools and inform supervisor when such are broken or lost.
• Comply with all Agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain same to meet CARF, HIPAA, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards.
