About The Position

The Patch Boys of Kane County is looking to add experienced, multi-skilled drywall repair technicians to our growing team. We proudly serve Kane County and surrounding communities including St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia, Elgin, Aurora, Algonquin, Huntley, and more. We are a well-established drywall repair company with an outstanding reputation, an A rating with the Better Business Bureau, and 50+ Five-Star Reviews across Google, Angi, Thumbtack, Yelp, BBB, and Nextdoor. Our business is growing, and we are seeking experienced drywall repair, patching, and finishing technicians to join our team. We also welcome experienced subcontractors who meet our equipment and transportation requirements. Preference will be given to candidates located in Kane, Kendall, and DuPage counties. If you are dependable, skilled in drywall repair and finishing, and take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship, we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of proven drywall repair and finishing experience
• Experience with texture matching and painting
• Fluency in English
• Own hand tools, power tools, and drywall equipment
• Reliable truck capable of transporting tools and materials
• Clean driving record
• Ability to provide 3 personal work references
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to complete I-9 documentation on the first day of work
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality

Nice To Haves

• Experience with trim work and remodeling
• Previous subcontractor experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform drywall hanging, installation, patching, repair, and finishing
• Match textures and complete painting work as needed
• Complete trim work and assist with basic remodeling projects
• Maintain a clean and professional job site
• Communicate professionally with customers on-site
• Safely transport tools and materials to job locations
• Deliver consistent, high-quality workmanship on every project
