About The Position
This is a temporary position for a Dryfold Production worker. The role involves picking up dry linen and feeding it into various dry fold machines, following standard operating procedures for each machine. The worker will inspect each piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and wear, and must meet quality and production standards. The assignment is for 3-5 days, from September 21st to September 25th. There are two shifts available: one for 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM and another for 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, each requiring one employee.
Requirements
- Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day
- Be able to push/pull linen carts up to 800 lbs (in wheels)
- Be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Be able to operate computer/printer
- Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending and twisting
Responsibilities
- Picks up dry linen and feeds an item into various dry fold machines.
- Follows standard operating procedures for each machine.
- Inspects each piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and wears.
- Meets quality and production standards.
