About The Position

This position involves picking up dry linen and feeding items into various dry fold machines. The role requires adherence to standard operating procedures for each machine, inspection of linen for defects such as stains, tears, holes, and wear, and meeting established quality and production standards. The role is a temporary position with a start date of 9/18 for the 1st shift Scrub Folder, with a pay rate of $15/hr. Working hours are from 6 am to 2:30 pm. The company is looking for individuals who can start immediately after a Portage walk-through.

Requirements

• Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day.
• Be able to push/pull linen carts up to 800 lbs (in wheels).
• Be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Be able to operate computer/printer.
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Picks up dry linen and feeds an item into various dry fold machines.
• Follows standard operating procedures for each machine.
• Inspects each piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and wears.
• Meets quality and production standards.
• Be on time.
• Have excellent attendance.
• Meet established production standards.
• Follow all company safety rules.
