About The Position

This is a temporary production position focused on operating dry fold machines. The role involves picking up dry linen, feeding items into machines, and inspecting linen for defects. The position requires meeting quality and production standards, adhering to safety procedures, and maintaining a positive attitude and organized work area. The role also includes the possibility of working past scheduled hours and cross-training in other positions as needed.

Requirements

• Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day.
• Be able to push/pull linen carts up to 800 lbs (in wheels).
• Be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Be able to operate computer/printer.
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Picks up dry linen and feeds an item into various dry fold machines.
• Follows standard operating procedures for each machine.
• Inspects each piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and wears.
• Meets quality and production standards.
• Be on time.
• Have excellent attendance.
• Meet established production standards.
• Follow all company safety rules.
• Be able to work well with a diverse workforce.
• Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Possess and maintain a positive attitude.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in line with company policies.
• Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise.
• Cross-train in other positions per production needs.
