Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (training provided)
  • Ability to carry 50 pounds
  • Ability to lift up to 65 pounds
  • Ability to push/pull up to 120 pounds
  • Take initiative and work efficiently
  • Are dependable and motivated to perform at a high level
  • Have a strong attention to detail
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Are willing to learn new skills and responsibilities
  • Can understand and follow rules, procedures, and safety policies
  • Have basic reading, math, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Compliance with all safety procedures.
  • Operate the dryer to ensure proper bean moisture control.
  • Provide routine cleaning of the grain dryer and surrounding areas.
  • Cleans and maintains equipment.
  • Moves materials from storage or work site to designated area, using hand truck, forklift, pallet jack, or other device.
  • Maintains inventory, records, and location of equipment and materials moved.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  • Follow all company safety policies, food safety requirements (if applicable), and environmental regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and communicate production issues to supervisors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
