Kimley-Horn's Broomfield, Colorado (CO) office is seeking a Dry Utilities Analyst with 2+ years of experience to join their Dry Utilities team. This is not a remote position. The role involves working on a variety of projects, including undergrounding overhead electrical and communications lines, coordinating electrical and communications utilities for new developments, photometrics and lighting, and natural gas lines. Responsibilities include managing project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and providing guidance to less experienced staff. The position requires regular use of technical software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D for analysis, production, and review of client deliverables. You will also attend meetings and communicate with clients, government entities, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and requirements. Collaboration with other industry-leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors is essential. In addition to technical experience, you will manage project tasks, design, permitting, construction coordination, and coordinate work with team members. You will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules. As a critical member of the team, you will perform various engineering tasks and receive on-the-job and formal training, mentorship, and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions.
