About The Position

This is a temporary position expected to last through end of October 2026, supporting reconditioning and production activities at the Exchange Center. Dry Ice Operator performs tasks essential to the reconditioning process, restoring pre-owned or used products to a like-new condition. This includes inspection, cleaning (including dry ice blasting), repair, and quality assurance. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow standardized work to ensure all products meet company and customer standards. First shift, 8+ hours per day OR option for evening hours 4pm or 5pm to 9pm.

Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to read and follow instructions, work orders, and basic technical documents
• Team-oriented with flexibility and a willingness to support others
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage time effectively
• Continuous improvement and solution-oriented mindset

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing and/or Assembly experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming products, parts, or equipment to assess conditions and determine necessary reconditioning steps
• Perform thorough cleaning, detailing, and cosmetic repairs using appropriate tools and products
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble items using mechanical or electrical tools as required
• Replace worn or defective components to restore full functionality and safety compliance
• Ensure all reconditioned items meet quality control standards before release
• Identify recurring defects and recommend process improvements
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Collaborate with other technicians, supervisors, and inventory teams to meet daily/weekly production goals
