About The Position

Seeking strong, dynamic drummers who can combine technical skills, performance energy, and stage presence for a high-energy live production show. This is a full stage show where large arm motions, strong facial expressions, movement, character, and overall performance quality are highly considered in the cast process. The role involves performing in the "Monster Stomp" production during the Howl-O-Scream 2026 event. Tentative rehearsal dates are from August 21 to September 16, with event nights running from September 18 to October 31. Evening shifts are to be determined, with approximate times of 5:45 PM to 12:00 AM on event nights.

Requirements

• Strong, dynamic drumming skills.
• Ability to combine technical skills, performance energy, and stage presence.
• Demonstrate strong groove, chops, and soloing ability in video submission.
• Ability to move while performing.
• Showcase performance energy and stage presence.
• Availability for all tentative rehearsal dates (August 21 - September 16) and all Howl-O-Scream 2026 event nights (September 18 - October 31).
• Submit a video submission no longer than 5 minutes.
• Prepare a resume and headshot for auditions.

Nice To Haves

• Use of heavier sticks/implements recommended for video submission.
• Experience in a full stage show environment.
• Ability to learn a dance combination.
• Participation in improv and athletic stamina exercises.
• Experience with characters and performance quality.
