Daymark Recovery Services, Inc. is a mission-driven community provider of culturally sensitive mental health and substance abuse services. Its mission is to inspire and empower people to seek and maintain recovery and health. Under direct and indirect supervision, the Drug Court Coordinator provides care management, person-centered planning and documentation, referrals and linkages, and monitoring and follow-up for clients referred to the Davidson County Case Management program through the Davidson County Court System. The program is voluntary, and individuals must agree to participate. Davidson County Probation and Parole makes referrals through a standardized referral process. Each case manager serves an average of 30 people annually, though caseloads may vary. The coordinator works with people under court supervision to address social determinants of health, connect them with appropriate services and resources, monitor their progress, and support compliance in coordination with the court system. The role participates in court activities and attends court or meetings with court, probation, and parole representatives to provide updates on clients’ status and progress. The coordinator works with Daymark’s IT/Data Analytics Team to provide quarterly reports on program activity and outcomes, including people served, case closures after the 90-day follow-up period, returns to the court system and subsequent criminal charges, employment and job-placement information, and referrals to workforce development and other outside agencies. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.
