About The Position

This role supports statewide efforts to improve the quality of substance use disorder treatment through data review, provider assistance, and program guidance. You will be working with a variety of partners to strengthen services and promote better outcomes. As a Drug and Alcohol Program Representative, you will perform the following duties: Quality Improvement: Assist with developing and implementing measures that strengthen substance use disorder treatment. Technical Assistance: Provide guidance and support to treatment providers through education, training, and onsite visits. Data Analysis: Review information from multiple sources to identify trends and recommend improvements. Training Support: Deliver trainings on regulations, best practices, and quality initiatives for internal and external partners. Report Preparation: Compile findings, develop tools, and prepare documents used for tracking, reporting, and program oversight. Collaboration Work: Coordinate with other divisions, bureaus, and stakeholders to address needs and support statewide goals.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of professional experience in a social services agency providing direct social services, case management services, program planning, program monitoring, program evaluation, allied health services, or quality assurance services
  • A bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences, public health or human services administration, or a closely related field
  • Meet the PA residency requirement
  • Be able to perform essential job functions

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate course work in the behavioral sciences, public health or human services administration may be substituted for up to one year of the required experience
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes two (2) years of professional experience in a social services agency providing direct social services, case management services, program planning, program monitoring, program evaluation, allied health services, or quality assurance services and 24 college level credits in the behavioral sciences, public health or human services administration
