Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Dependency, Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Nursing or a related field; or a Bachelor’s Degree which includes or is supplemented by successful completion of 18 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, criminal justice or other related social sciences; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
• You must meet the PA residency requirement.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Learn assessment practices to gather information and identify service needs
• Assist in determining the level of care and orient clients to program procedures
• Develop writing and analysis skills to update service plans
• Conduct client follow-ups and build skills in advocacy
• Participate in monitoring treatment progress and utilization review activities
• Join staffing meetings, treatment teaming, and supervision sessions
