Driving Instructor - PA

Coastline East LLC DBA Coastline Academy•Royersford, PA
•Onsite

About The Position

Coastline Academy is hiring a Driving Instructor to teach students practical driving skills in a company-provided vehicle. Most students are teenagers learning to drive for the first time, while some are adults preparing for a road test. The instructor helps students become safe, confident drivers and documents their progress after each lesson. All Coastline vehicles are clearly marked, equipped with a second instructor brake, and inspected by certified mechanics. Lessons are recorded by dashcams that capture video and audio inside and outside the vehicle. Coastline Academy pays for instructor certification and provides coursework and guidance through state licensing requirements. Training totals 40 hours: 20 hours of self-paced virtual learning and 20 hours of in-car shadowing and practical coaching. Instructors do not conduct lessons alone with students until they are ready. Schedules follow student demand, which is concentrated in afternoons and weekends; a typical day consists of three two-hour lessons.
