Requirements

Valid Florida Driving Instructor license or ability to obtain one
Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
25 Years Old
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient, calm demeanor
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Knowledge of Florida traffic laws, road signs, and DMV testing requirements

Nice To Haves

additional education a plus
Prior teaching, coaching, or instructional experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide behind-the-wheel instruction to student drivers of varying skill levels
Deliver classroom-based driver's education lessons covering traffic laws and safe driving practices
Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve driving skills
Maintain accurate student records, lesson logs, and progress reports
Ensure the safety of students during all in-vehicle training sessions
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure training vehicles are road-ready
Prepare students for Florida DMV road tests and written exams
