About The Position

The Driver meets residents’ transportation needs and helps ensure they arrive at appointments safely and on time. The role also assists with maintenance duties and community safety needs, while providing residents with first-class customer service in a safe and professional manner. The position is based at Crestone in Olathe, Kansas, and is part-time, scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The stated pay range is $18 to $20.50 per hour. The job involves active work, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and frequently lifting or moving items over 50 pounds. Work takes place indoors and outdoors, including during inclement weather, and requires use of a ladder. A flexible schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and holidays is required.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Possess and maintain the specific state-required chauffeur class license.
Have a clean driving record as required by the insurance carrier’s policy.
Be certified in first aid.
Have clear verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing more than 50 pounds.
Be criminally cleared and fidelity bondable.
Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
Have good physical health verified by a physician’s health screening performed no more than six months before or seven days after employment.
Test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at the time of the health screening.
Demonstrate skills, knowledge, and competency in leadership and supervision, including time management and organization, and the ability to represent and promote activities and programs.
Have a flexible schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and holidays.
