About The Position

The Driver meets residents’ transportation needs and assists them in arriving safely and on time to appointments. The role also assists with community maintenance and safety needs and provides residents with first-class customer service in a safe and professional manner. This part-time position is based at Crestone in Olathe, Kansas. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; the posting also requires flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. The pay range is $18 to $20.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Possess and maintain the specific state-required chauffeur-class license.
Have a clean driving record in accordance with the insurance carrier’s policy.
Be first-aid certified.
Have clear verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing more than 50 pounds.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day, and use a ladder.
Be criminally cleared and fidelity bondable.
Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks; health must be verified by a physician’s screening no more than six months before or seven days after employment, including a negative pulmonary tuberculosis test at the time of screening.
Demonstrate skills, knowledge, and competency in leadership and supervision, including time management and organization.
Be available for a flexible schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and holidays.
