About The Position

The Driver delivers vehicles and, in some instances, customers, employees, or vendors safely and on time to their destinations while providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service. The role is based at 3168 Park Ave, Paducah, KY 42001. It is an on-call position for three days per week, approximately 25 hours, with pay starting at $11.00 per hour. Drivers operate a variety of vehicles in varying weather and road conditions.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than one moving violation and/or at-fault accident on the driving record in the past three years.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have at least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.

Responsibilities

Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of the area as needed, following all rules of the road.
Transport customers and vehicles safely and courteously to the appropriate destinations.
Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
Notify the Manager of customer or vehicle problems, including maintenance needs; ensure proper oil, tire, and fluid levels.
Ensure the fuel tank is at the proper level and refuel when needed.
Complete paperwork associated with vehicle pick-up and delivery.
Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
Clean vehicles and/or keep the bus clean during the shift when asked.
Assist customers with directions, vehicle options, loading and unloading luggage, and basic policies and procedures when asked.
Drive safely and attentively to prevent injury to others and damage to vehicles.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
