About The Position

The Driver delivers vehicles and, in some instances, customers, employees, or vendors safely and promptly to appropriate destinations while providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service. The role transports fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations, locally or out of area as needed, and follows written directions and all rules of the road. The position is located at 2516 N Roosevelt Blvd., Key West, FL 33040, and starts at $16.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday 8:00 AM–1:00 PM, Thursday through Saturday 2:00 PM–7:00 PM, and Sunday 8:00 AM–1:00 PM.

Requirements

• At least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
• No drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
• Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by the company now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Transport fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations, navigating written directions.
• Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed while following all rules of the road.
• Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destinations safely and courteously.
• Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
• Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Communicate via two-way radio or cellular phone as needed.
• Clean vehicles as needed.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
