About The Position

The Driver delivers vehicles and, in some instances, customers, employees, or vendors safely and promptly to appropriate destinations while providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service. The role transports fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations and may require navigating written directions. The position is located at 2516 N Roosevelt Blvd., Key West, FL 33040, and starts at $16.50 per hour. The available schedule is Monday 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., Thursday through Saturday 2:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m., and Sunday 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Requirements

• At least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
• No drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
• Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of the area as needed, following all rules of the road.
• Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destinations in a safe and courteous manner.
• Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
• Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Communicate via two-way radio or cellular phone when needed.
• Clean vehicles when asked.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
