Driver - Rogers- Part Time
About The Position
Enterprise Mobility is hiring a part-time Driver at its Rogers, Arkansas location. The position pays $11.00 per hour and averages 25 hours per week. The schedule is on call Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Driver safely and promptly transports vehicles and, in some instances, customers, employees, or vendors to their destinations while providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service. The role involves moving fleet cars and vans between rental locations, following written directions, and completing related customer-service and vehicle-support tasks. Enterprise Mobility provides mobility solutions through its Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car brands and offers services including car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, and travel management. The company and its affiliate manage a fleet of 2.4 million vehicles and operate more than 9,500 rental locations in over 90 countries and territories.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than one moving violation and/or at-fault accident on the driving record in the past three years.
- Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must have six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.
Responsibilities
- Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road.
- Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destinations safely and courteously.
- Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
- Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
- Communicate via two-way radio or cellular phone when needed.
- Clean vehicles and/or keep the bus clean during the shift when asked.
- Assist customers with directions, car options, and basic policies or procedures when asked.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading luggage, entering and exiting vehicles, and miscellaneous needs when asked.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
