About The Position

Immanuel Pathways PACE® is looking for a Full-Time Driver to join our team at Pathways Omaha (5755 Sorensen Parkway, Omaha, NE 68152). If you’re passionate about serving others and enjoy connecting with your co-workers, this is the opportunity for you! Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM. Occasional evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required to support participant appointments, special outings, and transportation needs. Requirements: Must be 21 years or older. Able to pass a DOT physical. Pay: Up to $23.36/hour, based on experience, certifications, skills, and education.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED is required.
Must be 21 years of age.
Valid Driver’s license is required.
In Iowa, Chaueffeur's license will be required prior to hire.
CDL certificate may be required depending on location.
CNA certificate may be required depending on location.
Must be able to successfully pass a DOT Medical Exam and obtain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
Hiring is contingent on successfully passing a DOT Medial Exam and obtaining DOT Medial Examiner’s Certificate.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide safe and timely transportation of Immanuel Pathways participants, under the supervision of the Transportation Supervisor.
Transport meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy, and any other items deemed necessary.
Responsible for the overall cleanliness and safety of the vehicle assigned on a daily basis.
Responsible for communicating any safety issue to the Transportation Supervisor.
Be capable of, and experienced in, transporting individuals with special mobility needs.
