About The Position

AVI Foodsystems is hiring drivers in Canton, Ohio, for Service Route Driver, Delivery Route Driver, and Route Floater opportunities. Drivers help keep customers supplied and daily operations running smoothly by delivering products, servicing customer locations, and supporting route coverage. The role involves independently managing assigned routes while providing friendly, dependable customer service. A commercial driver's license is not required. Applicants must complete a DOT physical and pre-employment drug testing is conducted.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Friendly, outgoing personality and customer-first attitude.
Strong organizational skills and excellent time management.
Ability to work independently, stay on schedule, and manage daily responsibilities.
Excellent communication skills and a professional, dependable work ethic.
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver food, beverages, and other products to customer locations.
Load and unload products and keep vehicles stocked and organized for daily routes.
Stock, merchandise, and maintain vending machines, coolers, and other food service equipment.
Monitor inventory, order products, and keep customer locations stocked.
Maintain refrigeration and food safety standards during transportation and delivery.
Rotate inventory and remove expired or unsold products.
Collect and accurately account for cash from vending machines when applicable.
Clean, sanitize, and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
Build positive customer relationships through friendly, professional, and dependable service.
Maintain company vehicles and follow safety and operational procedures.
Assist with additional routes or coverage as needed.
