About The Position

AVI Foodsystems is hiring dependable, hardworking, and motivated individuals for Food Packer, Warehouse Worker, and Utility Worker openings. These roles support food packing, warehouse distribution, inventory, equipment installation, and general operations. Team members help daily operations run smoothly by handling products accurately, maintaining inventory, preparing orders for shipment, assisting with equipment installation and maintenance, and keeping work areas clean, safe, and organized. Duties vary by position and may include food packing and order fulfillment, warehouse receiving and distribution, or equipment installation, maintenance, and related utility work.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in food packing, warehouse operations, inventory, equipment maintenance, or general utility work is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Pick, assemble, pack, and fill orders accurately for shipment.
Load trays with food products while following established procedures.
Receive incoming products and verify quantities and product descriptions.
Stock and organize inventory in designated areas; maintain physical inventory records and assist with inventory counts.
Follow food handling, cleanliness, sanitation, safety, security, receiving, handling, storage, and shipping procedures.
Participate in warehouse receiving and distribution activities, including inspecting and verifying incoming products and preparing orders for shipment.
Complete receiving, stocking, packing, and distribution activities in a timely and orderly manner.
Assist with installing equipment at client locations within a designated service area.
Disassemble and assemble cabinets, machines, and equipment as needed; strip, clean, rebuild, and prepare equipment components for use.
Clean and sanitize equipment and assemble, install, repair, or replace parts and components according to established procedures.
Load and unload trailers, materials, equipment, and supplies using proper handling and safety procedures.
Use basic hand tools to assist with equipment maintenance and repairs; assist with moving and positioning equipment.
Perform general cleanup and maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
Follow AVI policies and procedures, including applicable safety and security requirements.
Communicate concerns to management, including cleanliness issues, safety hazards, damaged products, inventory discrepancies, and security concerns.
Follow directions, complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently, work independently when required, and cooperate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
