This position requires a dedicated driver who can report to work on time and work until route completion. There is no definite quitting time, and overtime may be required while complying with FMCSA hours of service regulations. The driver will be responsible for completing daily deliveries to pre-assigned customers, with routes subject to change. Availability to assist other drivers or perform additional deliveries when required is also expected. The role involves conducting pre/post trip inspections, applying safety techniques during loading/unloading, and ensuring the vehicle is secured at all times. Drivers must observe traffic laws, drive with caution to prevent merchandise damage, and verify accurate product delivery and payment collection (cash is not accepted). Outstanding customer service and professional relationships with customers are essential. Basic mathematical skills are needed for invoice calculations, and communication with dispatch and supervisors regarding delivery status and issues is required. The position involves heavy lifting, carrying product alone and with a hand truck, and various physical activities including sitting, standing, driving, walking, carrying, pushing/pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching. Deliveries will be made in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by management. Additional duties as assigned will also be part of the role.
