About The Position

Crown Pointe, a Sonida Senior Living community in Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking a Driver to transport residents safely to routed stops and support community activities as needed. The Driver assists residents entering and exiting vehicles, maintains vehicles in a safe and clean condition, and helps protect residents from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect. The role also represents the community positively and may assist the Activity Director with planning and setting up in-house activities.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and ER in excess of 50 pounds as necessary to perform assigned tasks throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

• CDL endorsement preferred; required where necessary.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver residents to routed stops.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles.
• Operate vehicles safely and keep them clean.
• As needed, assist the Activity Director with in-house activities, including planning and organizing, arranging furniture, decorating, and general setup.
• Ensure residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect, and report any such instance to the Executive Director.
• Represent the community positively at all times.
