About The Position

Galleria Woods Senior Living is seeking a dependable, hospitality-focused part-time Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for residents attending appointments, grocery shopping, community outings, and special events. The role helps residents remain active, connected, and engaged. The pay range is $17–$20 per hour, based on experience. Shifts become available as needed, and the position includes weekday work and some weekends.

Requirements

• Valid Alabama driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least six months of bus, van, shuttle, or passenger transportation experience.
• Dependable, professional, and customer-service-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• CDL preferred.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a van, bus, or automobile to meet residents’ transportation needs.
• Assist residents on and off vehicles, including people using wheelchairs, walkers, canes, or other mobility devices.
• Support resident outings and special events.
• Load groceries and other purchased items into the vehicle.
• Coordinate and schedule routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and maintain assigned vehicles.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as directed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive resident experience.
