About The Position

The Driver delivers vehicles and, in some instances, customers, employees, or vendors safely and promptly to appropriate destinations while providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service. The role is based at 1627 E Joppa Rd, Baltimore, MD 21286, and starts at $15.10 per hour. Drivers may transport vehicles locally or out of the area and drive a variety of vehicles in different weather and road conditions. The schedule is Sunday off; Monday 7:45 a.m.–4:15 p.m.; Tuesday 10 a.m.–4 p.m.; Wednesday 10 a.m.–4 p.m.; Thursday off; Friday 7:45 a.m.–4:15 p.m.; and Saturday off. Enterprise Mobility is a mobility solutions provider operating the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car brands. Its services include car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, and travel management. The company and its affiliate manage a fleet of 2.4 million vehicles through more than 9,500 rental locations in over 90 countries and territories.

Requirements

Satisfactory background check, including driving history, employment references, education, and Social Security verification.
No more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past three years, and no DUI or DWI on the driving record in the last three years.
Valid U.S. driver's license held for at least one year.
Authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
At least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.
At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road.
Deliver customers and vehicles safely and courteously to appropriate destinations.
Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
Notify the Manager of customer or vehicle problems, including daily maintenance needs; ensure proper oil, tire, and fluid levels.
Ensure the vehicle has the proper fuel level and fill it with gasoline if needed.
Complete paperwork associated with vehicle pickups and deliveries.
Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
Clean vehicles or keep the bus clean during the shift when asked.
Assist customers with directions, vehicle options, luggage loading and unloading, and basic policies and procedures when asked.
Drive safely, with attention to detail and thoroughness, to prevent injuries and vehicle damage.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
