About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a temporary Driver for its Enterprise brand at Gulf Shores Regional Airport in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The Driver safely and promptly transports vehicles and, in some instances, customers, employees, or vendors to their destinations while providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service. The position pays $14 per hour and is temporary, with service limited to a maximum of 89 days.

The scheduled shifts are Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The role involves transporting fleet cars and vans between rental locations and following written directions. Drivers may also be asked to clean vehicles and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties.

Requirements

• Have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
• Have no more than one excessive speeding violation—defined as 26 or more miles per hour over the posted speed limit—on the driving record in the past three years.
• Have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
• Be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future work authorization sponsorship from the company.
• Live within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from the location.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be available for temporary work lasting a maximum of 89 days.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of the area as needed, following all rules of the road.
• Deliver customers and vehicles safely and courteously to appropriate destinations.
• Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
• Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Communicate via two-way radio or cellular phone as needed.
• Clean vehicles when asked.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
