About The Position

The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility is hiring a temporary Driver to deliver vehicles and, in some instances, customers, employees, or vendors safely and promptly to their destinations while providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service. The position is based at Gulf Shores Regional Airport, 1155 Commerce Dr, Gulf Shores, Alabama 36542, and is limited to a maximum of 89 days of service. Pay starts at $14 per hour.

The schedule is Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Enterprise Mobility provides mobility services through brands including Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car. Its services include car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, and travel management.

Requirements

• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
• Have no more than one excessive speeding violation (26 or more miles per hour over the posted speed limit) on the driving record within the last three years.
• Have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
• Be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future work authorization sponsorship from the company.
• Live within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from the location.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be available for temporary work lasting a maximum of 89 days.

Responsibilities

• Transport fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations, navigating written directions.
• Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of the area as needed, following all rules of the road.
• Deliver customers and vehicles safely and courteously to their appropriate destinations.
• Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
• Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Communicate via two-way radio or cellular phone as needed.
• Clean vehicles as requested.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
