About The Position

The Propane Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to customers. The role involves delivering, loading, and unloading propane while providing exceptional customer service. Drivers are accountable for maintaining high safety standards when delivering and handling propane and for regularly inspecting and maintaining their vehicles.

This is a flex, seasonal position with work rotations based on operational needs and employee preference: 6 months on / 6 months off, 7 months on / 5 months off, 8 months on / 4 months off, or 9 months on / 3 months off. During active seasons, the driver supports customers during high-demand winter months; off-season periods provide extended time away between assignments. Overtime may be required when business needs require it.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• CDL Class A or B.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of delivery driver experience preferred.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, collect, load, and deliver propane to and from containers, including bulk trucks, tanks, and/or cylinders.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Use available technology to monitor and track propane inventory transfers, tank levels, and container sizes.
• Accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers and complete and submit daily driver reports when necessary.
• Maintain equipment to high safety standards and report mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher.
• Conduct and, if applicable, document pre- and post-vehicle inspections, site inspections, and visual tank inspections.
• Coordinate frequently with the Dispatcher regarding routing and scheduling information.
• Immediately notify the Dispatcher of product, customer, routing, scheduling, or safety issues and obtain guidance on resolving them.
• Work overtime when business needs require it.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
