About The Position

Iron Mountain is seeking a reliable Local Route Driver to join its Fleet Operations team. The driver completes dedicated daily routes across assigned regional territories, safely handling customer materials and providing dependable, high-touch service to local businesses. The role involves 15 to 30 scheduled customer stops each day and returning home at the end of each shift. The reporting location is 11701 Missouri Bottom Road, Hazelwood, Missouri.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in route transportation, local delivery driving, or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; non-CDL and CDL Class B drivers are welcome to apply.
• Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse customer contacts.
• Physical ability to push, pull, and maneuver wheeled bins weighing up to 350 pounds throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vehicle to complete daily routes of 15 to 30 scheduled customer stops across assigned regional territories.
• Load, transport, and secure customer materials, including maneuvering wheeled service bins weighing 250 to 350 pounds.
• Serve as the professional point of contact at client locations, communicate clearly, and address on-site inquiries.
• Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, follow transportation safety standards, and maintain accurate daily route logs.
