About The Position

The Driver provides safe, reliable, courteous, and efficient transportation services for residents of the Community. The position is part-time, based at Spring Arbor of Greensboro, and is scheduled Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The listed pay range is $16.46 to $19.43 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have good judgment, time management, decision-making, and safety awareness skills.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Screening.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company Fleet Safety standards.
• Must meet and maintain Company driving eligibility and insurability requirements.
• Must comply with the Community's drug-free workplace policy.

Responsibilities

• Drive residents to outings, health care appointments, banking, and other activities as determined by the Lifestyle Director/Concierge and the Executive Director.
• Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle.
• Assist with loading packages, boxes, sacks, and similar items.
• Coordinate Community transportation services, including vehicle maintenance and adherence to the transportation budget and expenditures as directed.
