About The Position

Brunswick is seeking an experienced Driver to join its Old Lyme, Connecticut team. The role involves driving a truck on multi-stop delivery routes, including areas with limited access. Drivers learn multiple routes with varying start times and must be flexible when schedules change. They load, secure, and unload products; maintain delivery schedules; provide and receive delivery documentation; inspect vehicles before and after deliveries; and comply with applicable federal and state regulations. Professionalism, communication, customer service, attendance, and reliability are important. The position offers a starting pay rate of $25.00 and eligibility for Brunswick’s benefits package.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior delivery experience.
Medical examiner’s certificate.
Ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record within company policy limits.
Ability to become certified through OSHA in Basic Hazmat, Driver Specific Hazmat, and Security Awareness.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
Comfort driving a truck and navigating areas with limited access.

Nice To Haves

CDL preferred but not required.
Experience with multi-stop routes.

Responsibilities

Drive a truck safely, including navigating areas with limited access.
Learn and cover multiple delivery routes with varying start times, adapting to unexpected changes.
Load, secure, and unload products safely while maintaining the route schedule.
Receive and provide appropriate documentation for deliveries.
Inspect and handle CODs and delivery manifests accurately.
Perform pre- and post-delivery vehicle inspections and comply with federal and state regulations.
Maintain a professional appearance and provide strong communication and customer service.
Demonstrate excellent attendance and reliability.
