About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a Seasonal Driver to transport fleet cars and vans between rental locations and, when needed, deliver customers, employees, or vendors to appropriate destinations. The role requires safe, timely driving and courteous, professional customer service. The position is based at 225 E Airline Hwy, Kenner, LA 70062, pays $10.50 per hour, and is seasonal, with employment ending after 180 days. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enterprise Mobility operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car brands. Its services include car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, and travel management. The company and its affiliate manage a fleet of 2.4 million vehicles and operate more than 9,500 locations in over 90 countries and territories.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require employment authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Transport fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations, navigating written directions.
Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road.
Deliver customers and vehicles safely and courteously to appropriate destinations.
Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
Communicate via two-way radio or cellular phone when needed.
Clean vehicles and/or keep the bus clean during the shift when asked.
Assist customers with directions, car options, and basic policies and procedures when asked.
Assist customers with loading and unloading luggage, entering and exiting vehicles, and other miscellaneous needs when asked.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
